Choosing future career is one of the most crucial stage in a human’s life determining the quality of the lifestyle. I have decided to become a translator. As far as I am concerned , communicative skills and stress resistance including patience and diligence are highly required characteristics for a professional translator.

Without a doubt one of the most significant characteristic is having good communicators. These days the ability to build strong relationships with people is one of the key factors for getting a job. Translators realizing the need for this skill usually have non-stop practicing with native speakers in order to improve language knowledge and learn new about different nations and their traditions. For example , my mother has been a Chinese translator for more than 10 years , but she does not stop studying. Last year she had got an apprenticeship in a few international companies where she had the opportunity to collaborate with native speakers with different dialects and learn from them more about specifics in pronunciation and cultures in their region.
