In recent years, the number of deaths has increased, and that is related to people who drive their cars when they are drunk. This essay will discuss what kind of problem it causes and, secondly, the possible ways to handle it.
On the one hand, most road accidents occur due to a lack of concentration. People drive their cars when they are unconscious. After a strenuous work day, people prefer to drink alcohol to unwind. When they do not pay attention to their drink moderations, they pose a threat to other people’s lives and themselves, which might result in their deaths. For example, in Azerbaijan, nearly seven road accidents out of ten happen because of drunk people.
On the other hand, in order to reduce death rates, which are linked to alcohol, the government and bars should move together. Bars have to inform their clients in case they will not serve them and call the police if they become drunk before starting to serve their customers. Governments can increase the number of wardens on the roads. Also, they set up new police offices in the vicinity of bars. For instance, these methods are imposed in Germany and remarkably decline the death rates by almost 45% in a year.
To conclude, both car accidents and drunk people’s death rates increased. But there are some solutions to cope with this phenomenon.
