Some people believe that music, art and drama are as significant as other school subjects. This essay totally agrees with this opinion. Because these subjects reveal students talent and they rise student confidence.
One of the most important reason I agree with this statement is the child in primary level has kinesthetic and audio-visual learning. They enjoy learning new things with exciting themes. Music, art and drama are inevitable subjects in school times. The kids learn with singing, drawing, acting and moving. If they have talent, they can improve them steadily. Without discovering their interests and hobbies, they can’t develop their talents. Firstly they find out their interests and improve later. At that point, it’s crucial that these subjects are in separable parts of the curriculum. When the child grows up and be an adult, probably there is no chance to discover talents. Not possible but it’s hard. Because some of the significant development start in childhood. That’s called critical period. Even if some gain skills and abilities later, it’s restricted for improving.
The other reason that I agree with the point is confidence and couragement. The person who grows with music, art and drama has definitely self-confidence and courage. These subjects raise people’s and children’s confidence. It can’t be imagined that a child grows without these subjects. The world attaches importance to them and recently it is going up. Most of the countires curriculum develops their teaching methods and techniques according to children needs. And these subjects are needs for individuals. Nevertheless, in our country, Türkiye, most of the primary school don’t care at all. But I hope it will change with time.
In conclusion, I certainly agree and believe the statement above because of two reasons. The first one is talent and the second is self-confidence. The person who raise with subjects music, art and drama absolutely will be aware of his/her talents, interest and they can improve them. On the other hand, he/she will have significant self-confidence. It will go up as the child grows. That’s why these three subjects are unboundably important.
