While some people believe that salary should be prioritised as the most crucial factor to start a new job, others argue that there are still more important factors than salary. It is undeniable that salary plays a vital role when choosing a job. However, from my perspective, other factors such as work conditions, office culture, colleagues are more notable than wages. This essay will be developed into two parts, directly illustrating reasons why financial incentives are deeply noticed when taking up a new job and the importance of other factors.
It is worth considering that wage has long been viewed as the first priority for workers due to several reasons. First of all, what they focus on is how they can get a well-paid job to sustain their family. In this day and age, cost livings are significantly increased, requiring more money to maintain a sustainable life. Therefore, salary is believed as the most important factor when choosing a job. By constrast, if people choose their career based on their interests and passions such as artists and musicians, they will always find it difficulty in living comfortably and making a family.
Reversely, other factors are also as vital as economic incentives. Many workers, especially young people, concern more about work conditions than wages. This is mainly because they are in the belief that a safe and qualified environment will help them develop and get promotion quicky, creating thousands of opportunities for them.Contrary to this belief, many people accept to work in poor condtitions to afford their life for a large amount of money at first. As a result, there are numerous unfortunate accidents happened later, making it even harder for them to meet their needs. Interestingly, there are some workers commuting to work to gain a certain amount of experience for their own future bussiness. Office cultures and colleauges are some of the most paramount reasons to stay long with a company. A significant number of labors often said that they value these than economic benefits because when you get along with your partners and comfortable with office culture, you will create a feeling of workplace as your second home and become better to stay longer with this place.
In short, I still maintain my view that salary is not the most paramount factor when choosing a career. Other factors should be highly considered . If so, the quality of our lives will be improved
.
