Band 5: Why Zetland teenagers would like to go on a space trip? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

I am working on a project on why Zetland teenagers would like to go on a space trip. I have found a table with the results of the opinion polls. I am going to comment on the data and express my opinion on the subject of the project.

According to the table, answering the question “Why Zetland teenagers would like to go on a space trip?” 45% of respondents in Zetland want because of experience something unique. The second most popular answer is to see the Earth from other space (28%). Additionally, the smallest proportion of teenagers want to make a scientific discovery (2%).

The data in the table reveals that there are more teenagers who would like to go on a space trip because of dreams (15%) than those who want to learn about the world (10%). This might be because teenagers just watch films about the space and they don’t know the truth about this trips. But maybe teenagers who want to learn about the world, see this opportunity as their future jobs.

Unfortunately, one problem can arise if people continue trips to the space. It is destroying the ozone layer of the Earth. To solve this problem, people should find new technologies to travel to the space.

In conclusion, I think the space exploration is important for our world and our future. Because the space has been studied for a few percent. We should know more about the world where we live!
