In the future, the newspaper and tv news will no longer be produced, and they will be replaced by online journalism. Although I agree that online website are widespread nowadays, it is not a substitute for traditional journalism.
Obviously, not all the current news journalism are going to become obsolete. Although social media is now one of the main sources of information about what is going on in the world and one of the fastest ways to deliver news, not all content provides accurate and honest stories; they tend to fail in delivering the truth as it should, in addition to the chance of facing fake news is higher in digital media than the others. On the other hand, traditional methods play a crucial role in distributing accurate and in-depth reporting; through traind journalists and announcers, no way to encounter non realistic false information.
In my point of view, I completely believe that tv and newspapers are way better than the new methods, it didn’t spread over the website and get shaped in many ways before it has been broadcasted to people. Also, it provides a real-time scenes of the event, it shows dedication, honesty and hardworking.
In conclusion, while I believe social media is starting to rule the world, and many individuals rely on it as a trusted, I think that it is often shaped, altered, or even undergo faking in order to gain more views. Unlike old fashioned ways; they tend to care more about spreading the truth rather than competing for followers and viewers.
