Some people think that it is pointless for children who do not have artistic talent to learn painting and drawing at school. Firstly, I partly disagree with this opinion.
On the one hand, it is true that not all children are good at art. Some students find painting difficult and sometimes they feel bored or frustrated. Because of this, they may lose interest in learning. It can be better for them to focus on subjects where they are stronger, such as maths or science. This can help them feel more confident and achieve better results in the future. Moreover, students should spend more time on subjects that are useful for their future careers.
On the other hand, art is not only about talent. Secondly, it helps children develop creativity and imagination. Even if a child is not very good at drawing they can still enjoy it. Art classes also help students relax and express their feelings. For example when I was younger, I liked drawing, even though I was not very talented. It made me feel calm and happy. In addition, art can improve concentration and attention to detail.
In conclusion, I believe that art is important for all children. They should learn it at school, even if they are not very good at it, because it helps them develop important skills and become more creative people.
