In my perspective, deferring the birth of the first child will cause multiple hurdles and affect the moral well-being of society. Let us delve deep into the reasons behind the emergence of this trend with suitable examples.
Firstly, many think that for academic or professional success, they need to prioritize their professional life over their personal which is not possible if they have kids. The children need quality time and attention from their parents for better growth. Secondly, for raising a child, financial stability plays a significant role. The parents need to have the capability to provide quality education and sustainable living.
Thirdly, some couples want to spend quality time with themselves, enjoying and flourishing their youth. The major downside of this idea is that some face health complication with late pregnancy in their older age, and few have even lost their life. An analysis made of the parent-child relationship reveals that couples with late childbirth struggle to have a positive and understanding bond with their child.
