It is widely argued the developing impoverished nations should deal with their internal issues on their own. However I strongly believe that affluent countries should support them in these vital sectors that poorer governments lack the resources to foster progress independently.
Firstly, financial support form high-income countries is crucial for development of healthcare and schooling in underdeveloped countries. When developed countries invest in these fields and provide strategic guidance on financial management, poorer nations can achieve sustainable growth and ruduce global economic disparities. For example, after Congo DR attracted funding from European nations and heavily invested in healthcare, the country successfully reduced deaths by almost 18% in less than a year. Thus, investing and guideing is indispensable for undeveloped countries to achieve stability.
Secondly, taking full responsibility is crucial for solving their own national problems. This is because without a strong will and anti-corruption measures, money that is invested can be wasted or mismanaged. For instance, despite receiving millions of dollars from UWC, Venezuela made progress in neither management of natural resources nor anti-corruption war. As a result president and decision makers from the country were jailed by US government. Therefore, foreign aid alone cannot bring results unless the government take responsibility.
To conclude, taking responsibility and trying with full potential is important to reach stability however foreign financial aid and guidance on financial management is indispensable on the way to achieve sustainable progress. Without funding and aid from affluent nations, undeveloped countries cannot develop as they lack experience.
