Band 6+: Improvment in health, education and trade are essential for the development of poorer nations. However the governments of richer nations should take more responsibility for helping the poorer nations in such areas. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Development of poor countries is closely linked to the health, education and trade improvement. There are those who believe that representatives of rich countries should support the poor nations in these fields. This essay agrees with the statement because the country may have historical, geographical or disastrous reason for their vulnerability, and support from other countries will strengthen relations and trust.

To start with, country may face difficulties because of its past history, location and even disastrous consequences of natural catastrophes. This can cause to impoverishment and lack of the resources that may be poured to such important realms like: healthcare and wellness, education and shipping goods. For example, some African countries head the list of the poorest countries in the world, and the United Nations, Russia provide them with humanitarian help.

Another important reason in favour of helping poor nations is the possibility to create social bonds. Representatives of other nations should have the rights to basic needs. They are not guilty of living in a poor country. Hence, richer countries may give them not only help, but a helping tool how to develop these infrastructures further. This will grow confidence between the countries and bridge two them for further collaboration. For example, some countries suffering from climate changes united 2022 to support each other in a struggling period of time. One major problem helped them to combat the same problem and consolidated their forces against it.

However, some would argue that it is just a waste of country’s budget. Despite the fact that this money may go to develop the internal economy, I take the view that even a small help may be a great deal to those in need.

To sum up, vulnerable representatives of a poor society have a right to study, be treated in hospitals, and get all the necessaries of life. I think richer countries should consider the reasons and possibilities to assist them.
