There are several effective approaches can be done by the authority to mitigate global warming such as investing in public transport system and reducing public transport ticket fare. I strongly agree with these notions, several reasons will be explained further in this essay.

I believe that government investment in reliable public transport will encourage people to use them over private vehicles. Better quality of service that provided by public transportation system such as railways, buses, subways offer the fastest way to commute and reduce the dalay time. When more people use public transportation, the amount of carbon emission released by the huge number of private cars definitely will significantly reduce as well. Moreover, the authority also could promote the use of greener transportation mode such as, electric cars, buses and trains. Evidently, the green vehicles generate far lesser pollution compare to the conventional transportation that powered by fossil fuel.

Furthermore, the reduction of public transportation ticket fare is an effective strategy to provide better option for the citizen. Commuters will consider efficiency in using public transportation in comparison to their private vehicles. Moreover, commuters can save their private transportation budget for another spending purpose.

In conclusion, I firmly support the government investment in public transportation system and cost-effective ticket fare as it reduce significant amount of carbon footprints. Given to the notions, I reccommended the government to immediately improve public transportation system and provide affordable ticket prices for their citizens.
