Human civilization has been developing throughout the time, and every new generation is considered to be better than the previous one. Therefore, it is thought that people’s lives in 2025 are more qualitative than a century ago. In this essay I will make a point about the superior position of current standard of living.
Firstly, the more people evolve, the more convenience they create. The technology progress made in the past century transformed most of aspects existed in the world and created new ones, so now an ordinary person today has opportunities that similar normal person could not afford a century ago. For example, the creation of internet is one of the greatest breakthrough committed ever, and now most of the population has access to it, so it is an endless flow of information, entertaining sources and facilities, which would never have been available 100 years ago even to the top layers of society.
Secondly, it is true that the average level of literacy increased. So now, people, people are aware of much more things than before, and the development of society is obvious. Thanks to some events and figures in the past, the world today is more balanced. For instance, a couple of decades ago a huge part of population which is women, has been overlooked and infringed. In contrast to current situation, women were limited in most of the opportunities that were available to men, such as equal salary, working conditions, education and rights. Therefore, the evidence of more advantages status of a considerable part of the world proves the idea of increased standard of living. The more people know, the better society becomes. In this way, individuals are aware of equality between men and women and most of the spheres.
In conclusion, even though there might be some drawbacks in today’s situation, it is still true to accept the idea of advanced level of life
