Band 5+: Write about the following topic: Some people opine that increasing office hour is a reason for many social and personal problems and that is why it should be reduced to 35 hours in a week. What are the advantages and disadvantages of reducing the working week to 35 hours

Some individuals, nowadays, claim that an increase of a working hours may be a reason for people’s problems which they may encounter, so that, public requires a reduction to 35 hours a week. This essay will first consider the advantages and then examine the disadvantages. I strongly believe that we will review both perspectives properly and come to a conclusion.

First of all, mostof the people depend on their job because, obviously, they make a living from it. Sometimes, some changes may happen at workplaces, these changes can affect work shifts or even payroll. So, as I mentioned, people make a living, but even though they do, they may have some personal and social problems due to increasing office hour. Therefore, people do not have enough time fot their families, and friends. Moreover, since they only immersed into work, they forget to share spare time with relatives and hang out with close friends. It is important to emphasize that people have to communicate with others, otherwise they will distance theirselves from society. Thus, it can be said that there is a plenty of advantages in reducing a working hour, public need to have their brain rest, after all.

On the other hand, increasing office hour may have people improve their finanical situation, which, i suppose,is a big disadvantage of reducing office hours, despite the fact that people would feel more confident and less-stressed. In summary, want to note that advantages definitely outweigh disadvantages, which is only financial question.

To sum everything up, it can be seen that there are no reasons for increasing office hours because it mostly affects people’s private lives and well-being harmfully. From my own experience, I want to say that there is nothing good in overworking; my dad used to work over-time. Although we had enough money, it could not replace him. Sothus, people should not work over-time, forgetting about personal life.

As the problem of traffic jams in modern cities increase, there is an ongoing debate about whether public transport should be permanently free of charge to reduce road congestion. Some individuals are of the opinion that fresh water should be freely available for everyone whenever they want. However, others say that it is better to strictly regulate fresh water usage. While there are many positive effects in the implementation of strict water usage, I firmly disagree with this approach.

Admittedly, there are merits associated with the approach in strictly regulating the use of water. The first reason would involve the wasteful use of water in people’s routine. In many developed countries around the world, fresh water often costs a really cheap price, in which people will often capitalize this aspect to recklessly waste tons […]
