With the increasing importance of public health permeating into every aspect of our lives in the globalized world, whether or not increasing the amount of sports facilities by the means for people to enhance their public health has sparked a lively debate. While some think that this method has released a potential benefit for people by increasing their opportunities to exercise, others maintain the opposite idea that the release of various gaseous diffusion might impose negative effects on people. I will shed light on how this policy would influence people in both positive and negative ways. However, I personally believe that the exertion of sports facilities is essential in order to enhance the public health of people.
One potential benefit is that it increases a wide range of both physical and mental health by doing real exercise and chatting with other citizens, thus improving public health in general. For instance, by implementing more sports facilities in various places near home estates, people are able to stand a better chance of doing exercise in a convenient way and enhance their motivation to carry out exercises in the long term. While performing exercise outside places like home estates can increase the connection between citizens and society, thus the sense of belonging will also be increased, citizens have opportunities to chat and get along with other people further, moreover, it can extend the relationship between citizens and increase their mental health further, thus the total public health of people will be increased effectively.
However, we should bear in mind that the continuous progression of building sports facilities might release a host of gaseous diffusion and intensify the risk of affecting people’s public health negatively. It is an indisputable fact that the opportunities of releasing toxic elements will increase during the process, thus it might impose risks of having more illnesses such as pneumonia or symptoms like difficulty breathing elderlies, furthermore, it will not only put a lot of string on elderlies but also impose burdens on people living standard if the problem extends into a serious stage.
In conclusion, I still think the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks of increasing the number of sports facilities in the sense that the potential benefit can be sustained in a long-term period while the release of toxin elements is just in a short period.
