With the increase in unhealthy foods, and the negative lifestyle choices people are making, the average standard of people’s health is most likely to be lower in the future than it is now.
During the 1900s and prior, the common man would often have limited availability of food and resources, which is why they would grow their own crop, and raise livestock to obtain milk, meat and other products. This organicall grown produce would often be rich in vitamins, minerals and allow the individuals to maintain good health.
In contrast, in today’s day and age, people have no time to grow their own food, neither are they willing to rear animals. A digital and fast moving age, where everything has to happen with the push of a button. This is why common people are opting for fast foods, and meals that are made out of packets. Even fresh vegetables are now available as frozen goods. This causes a reduction in not only the nutrient content of the foods, but also leads to the increase in unhealthy constituents, like cholesterol, fatty acids and excessive sugar content in the blood. All of these have negatively impacted health, and led to various disorders such as, atherosclerosis, diabetes etc.
So the only obvious outcome would be that the average standard of people’s health will most like deteriorate in the near future. One way to avoid this would be to opt for more healthier food options, like cooking home cooked meals as much as possible, or choosing natural produce, which if possible, should be grown in home gardens, similarly, exercising, and losing some of the gained calories, are just tiny steps we can take to ensure we have a future, that’s active and healthy!
