My interest in studying the sciences has been innate, particularly in Computer Science. My fascination leads me to look forward to working on projects that challenge me to think creatively and more broadly. Studying at Auckland University of Technology will give me access to advanced research, innovative ideas, and new technologies that will help me contribute to the development of the advanced technologies and products that impact the world.
The overwhelming opportunities for valuable experiences and industry connections have brought. The degree provided at this university is very unique and has the ability to connect my studies to my interests. I believe that being Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences from your esteemed institution will help me gain more confidence and bring me a few steps closer to my goals. This course is highly flexible.
I began my schooling at Mahadevi Birla World Academy, and later, in the eleventh grade, I switched schools to Saini International School, Maheshtala, as it offered opportunities I could not find at my previous school. I participated in numerous projects here, but two from Computer Science are worth mentioning. Among others, I developed simple games and implemented algorithms to address particular tasks in Python (2024), due to which my coding and analytical skills were improved. Furthermore, I was tasked with creating a CV using SQL (2022), which showed how data must be categorized and information displayed. Outside school, I have completed a 100-day Python course through the Udemy platform under the instruction of Dr. Angela Yu. I constructed various games, calculators, flowcharts and graphs through this Bootcamp. These experiences have expanded my skills and acumen. I learned the advanced version of Python in this course.
I believe that studying in New Zealand will give me more such challenges and experiences. New Zealand is a country that promotes growth and learning through various technologies. Therefore, an opportunity to be part of the student community there will grow my skills and knowledge. This university provides state-of-the-art labs and outstanding facilities as well as industry connections. It also holds Career Fairs where we can meet representatives from New Zealand’s prestigious companies.
