I believe that cinemas and theaters are still importat due to their impact on puplic economy and culture.
On the one hand, some people believe that cinemas and theaters are no longer important. Those who hold this view justify their opinion by claiming that most of individuals are able to watch any show or movie through internet with no need to go to a cenima and theater. Entertainment platforms facilitate the opportunity to engage with many series movies and plays from home. For example, Netflix releases various types of plays and films every year, making the experience of waching them more accessible and flexible with just one click.
On the other hand, cinemas and theaters still have their audience. The primary reason is that cinemas and theaters maintain the cultural atmosphere. When a group goes to a theater they can fully interact with the actors in addition to share their opinions and feedback about the play with each other. This may lead to make people more interested in art and follow more shows. Futhermore, cinemas and theaters have a remarkable effect on the economy through advertisements and tickets sales, which generate high revenues to producers. As a result, a part of this income is converted to taxes, consequently used in improving puplic facilities such as schools and hospitals.
