Undoubtedly, urbanization has tremendously increased over a period of time, with the demand for more job opportunities. In recent times, the population in urban areas is increasing at an alarming rate. This essay will articulate the problems caused by this phenomenon and will provide possible solutions in order to tackle this issue.

Apparently, there are multifarious effects of this situation, and the prime one could be inflation. To simplify, the goods that are produced are not sufficient to fulfill the demand of each and every individual, and this results in an increase in the prices of such commodities. Moreover, it becomes difficult for individuals to fulfill their rudimentary needs. Apart from this, it causes an increase in resource exploitation, which has given rise to various climate issues such as global warming, water contamination, and land degradation. Along with that it reduce the natural resources which is essential for our life.

However, there are some possible measures to reduce this problem, and the cardinal one could be cognizance among various individuals. To clarify, if the government makes people aware of the problems that might be caused by this issue, then people would be more focused on reducing the effect of high population density. Moreover, the government can also make policies to prevent this; for instance, China adopted a one-child policy in order to reduce overpopulation in urban regions.

In conclusion, the increasing population has resulted in high prices of various products and resource depletion, but it can still be addressed by public awareness and adequate policy.
