Children grow up rapidly and in some regions they eventually leave their families as soon as they turn the age of adulthood. Most of the youth prefer living independently the moment they work or study during university period. There are some impacts on both their families and themselves. I will discuss the benefits and negativities of both sides.
To start with, some people tend to experience life on their own without prevention. This leads to personal mistakes and developing life skills as they face challenges individually. As most could agree that parents sometimes be over-protective and limit their young life discoveries. In order to find their personalities and characteristics they need to grow apart and learn from solo situations. In fact, this positively affects on them because it improves their decision making skills and independence.
On the other hand, having guardians could be a valuable support to younger ones. To be clear, after school, most individuals get lost with many responsibilities and family guidance would be helpful. Moreover, the expenses of living alone could not be affordable for most low-income people, which leads to a huge pressure on both families and their children. Additionally, quality time is relevant to live a happy life and be close to the loved ones and share with them moments. However, this could be argued as some might come from a troubled family.
Over all, I believe youth should be given the opportunity to experience life and grow through them. Despite the family value on one’s life, it is recommended to depend on themselves from basic daily needs to long life needs.
