Today’s generation is more likely into knowing about pop and movie actors than well known historic person. There are many reasons of it, and certain measures are required to alleviate this problem.
There are many causes but one of the most impactful cause is that people are watching more and more movies and web series these days, either in theaters or on OTTs, because of that they want to know more about the actor and actress casted in these films. Same case is for pop artists, people listen to songs or attend concert of singers and they get eager to know about them. Furthermore, people are reading less historic books than in past, they are either interested in financial development books or self development books, only few people are interested in reading historic person’s life journey.
To solve this problem, Firstly, film makers should make more movies on historic person’s biography, so that people get to know about their life and their work. If they like that character than they will read more about that specific character. Secondly, to influence young people, best way is to use internet, For example, youtube is a great way to spread information, youtubers should make more videos on historic people. Youth will watch it and will get inspire from it.
In conclusion, more interest in movies, web series and concerts and less involvement in reading books are two main reasons, but it can be solved by making more movies and youtube videos on these kind of personalities.
