Many people in our current time percieve themselves as overly educated. They think that they are superior to the ones older or younger than them in rank or age. The majority often enter discussions about these topics with an older relative of some kind.
Kids or young adults these days have more knowledge regarding broader topics due to their access to the open internet. Artificial intelligence and the web are known for having endless amounts of information. Nontheless the internet isn’t always reliable or safe. It is known for spredding rumors and false information especially on social media platforms.
Older individuals such as generation x, as many would refer to them; have less knowledge about everything going around in the world. They usually have limited access to the internet and are not engaged in popular social media platforms. News channels on the tv or newspapers are what the lean to the most when looking for new information or news.
Ideas and attitudes differ in these different age groups because of many reasons like religion, cultural norms, opinions, or just routine. Younger generations are more open to new ideas because of “trends” online. Trends can be anything from a dance to a product, or even a place. I think trends wired younger peoples brains to accept newer ideas and concepts easier. As I said, individuals from an older generation aren’t that open to concepts as younger ones are because they were always used to the things around them not changing much. They probebly have the same routine and the same places they like to visit and shop or dine at.
To conclude, I think that ideas and attitudes between different age groups do differ. It all traces back to how fast our world is changing and that is mostly because of the internet. I don’t think that conflicts that are caused between the ideas of an older and younger aged person cause that big of a problem but they may cause little arguments between members especially if neither side is trying to accept the other.
