The given cycle chart renders the stages involved in life cycle of a frog in a pond.
Ar a cursory glance, it is plain to see that, the journey of frog, from an egg to adulthood comprises of 9 key stages.
Transitioning into specifics of the process, it is clear to see that, in the initial stage, egg laying takes places. Then, this eggs develop into embryo where tadpoles cling to the water plant in order to withstand fast water flow. Emphasizing the structure of the larval frog, it is apparent to notice the presence of external gills for breathing. The frog initiates growing it’s tail and meanwhile, hindlegs also appear. The frog utilises the nutrients stored in the tail for survival.
Perogressing further, in sixth stage, front legs also come into view. Subsequently, the tail becomes shorter and finally disappears in young frog. Penultimately, the frog grows in size and ultimately, develops into an adult frog. Hence, the cycle continues.
