The given diagram illustrates how airplane ticket fees in an Australian airline vary between 2 cities throughout a span of two weeks in 2013.

Overall, there was little discrepancy between the cost of airplane tickets in the two cities. Moreover, the price tended to be more expensive during weekends and specifically Mondays.

Looking firstly at the ticket price from Sydney to Melbourne, the Monday of the first week was the highest at $80. However, it witnessed a significant drop to less than $40 in on Tuesday before increasing to approximately $75. After that, this figure decreased gradually to $40 in on the second Friday. Over the rest of the period, the airline ticket price fell again to $50.

Regarding the flight from Melbourne to Sydney, the price experienced a decrease from $60 to $30 in on Tuesday, which remained stable for the next 2 days. On Friday, the price rose considerably and reached its peak at of $80, followed by falling to $30 until the next Friday, when there was an increase to $60. During the second Saturday and Sunday, the number remained the same at $50.
