The bar chart illustrates the number of children who engaged in common activities, namely reading, brushing teeth, having a bath, watching TV, eating, before going to bed at three different ages in the USA in 2015.
Overall, reading was the most popular activity among all given ages groups, while eating was the least common activity for 4-5 and 6-8 years old, and the watching TV was the least popular for 1-3 years old children. Also, 6-8 years old pupils preferred brushing teeth before sleeping, and toddlers liked having a bath as part of their bedtime routines.
To start with the most popular activity, the number of children reading made up 65, 70 and about 58 among 1-3, 4-5, 6-8 year-olds respectively. In contrast, 6-8 and 4-5 year-olds did not much like eating, the former accounted around 8 and the latter constituted 10 and watching TV was the least popular activity for 1-3, with only approximately 15.
Turning to having a bath, 1-3 year-olds were interested in this activity and made up 40. Brushing teeth, being the most common activity among children aged 6-8, accounted for 50.
