The bar chart illustrates how many children of different age group do five common activities as part of their bedtime routines in the United States.
In general, reading is the most popular activity before bedtime, while least children eat and watch TV as part of their bedtime routines.
Reading has consistently the highest figure, with nearly 70 children of 4-5 years and 1-3 years reading before bedtime, which is only 10 higher than 6-8 year-olds. Brushing teeth is the second most popular activity, attracting nearly 50 children of 4-5 years and 6-8 years, while only 30 children of 1-3 years brush their teeth as part of their routines. In contrast, 40 children age 1-3 years are reported to have a bath before bedtime, whereas the figures for the others age group are roughly the same, both at the vicinity of 35 children.
Turning to the two remaining activities, the largest disparity among three age bracket can be seen in eating, wherein the figure for 1-3 age group(30 children) is three times higher than that for the others. Finally, watching TV attracted roughly the same number of children ages, all stand at 20.
