Overall, private transport was the vast majority transportation using by populations in Sydney, while people chose to travel by bus more than other ways in Hong Kong. In New York, walking was the most popular way chosen. By contrast, other transport was the least mode people using similarly in three cities.

In Sydney, the proportion of private transport use accounted for just below 70 percent, which was the most popular way in this city. Waking was the second option that people chose around 20 percent. Rail and bus were at the same level of using which was around 15 percent, while bus was a mode of transport that people in Hong Kong use the most, around 50 percent.
