Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that fundamental alterations have been made with the addition of facilities and amenities to serve the public.
Looking firstly at the layout depicted in the residence hall in 2010, it can be clearly seen that the residence hall was positioned between two gardens situated to the north and south. The entrance was located in the southwest corner, and directly to its left were a student bedroom and a bathroom. On the eastern side of the hall, there were two student bedrooms, in which the former was located in the northeast and the latter in the southeast, with a kitchen placed centrally between. Adjacent to the first student sleeping area on the northwest side was the living room.
After the refurbishment, one prominent shift is the removal of the southern and replaced by a car park. The bedroom for student and bathroom on the left side of the entry gate remained intact. The sleeping area on the southeastern side has been renovated with the en-suite room. A notable transformation occurred in the northwest area, where the former garden space was widened to accommodate a larger student bedroom, and the living room was converted into another student area. Additionally, the kitchen was integrated as a social area for student activities.
