Overall, internet speeds rose faster in each city over the period. Moreover, broadband held the most significant proportion of all connection types, followed by mobile.
According to the bar graph, Sydney increased slightly (from 13 MBPS to 14 MBPS), and accounted for the highest speed in either of the recorded periods. Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane followed a similar trend, rising up to just over 5, 3, and 2 MBPS, respectively. Melbourne grew more than twice as high to a peak of nearly 6 MBPS in 2015.
In the latter diagram, there is a wide disparity in the shares of broadband internet and that of others, with the former making up 63% by approximation. Following is mobile network, which formed a little more than 35% of all connections. No connection and dial-up contribute the remaining proportions of nearly 1.5% and 1%, respectively.
