In modern world, use of learning applications has become a controversial topic, as it distributed society into those with whom this development went down a treat and those who would not give a house room for that. From my point of view, advantages of mobile apps in education clearly overshadow disadvantages.
One major benefit of implying these tools are their accessibility. With smartphones or tablets, students are able to soak information, regardless of the current time nor location. For example, language learners benefit from app like Quizlet to memorise new vocabulary while standing in a line or waiting for the bus. In this way, platforms enable online users to spend their time not only interestingly, but also rationally.
However, many other people are convinced that drawbacks of such platforms greatly outweigh positive sides, because they make people dependent on technology and far more distracted than concentrated on learning process. In contrast, the applications are designed specifically for educational purposes, and therefore, it is exclusively person responsibility to control screen time and consumed content.
On the whole, educative sites impact mainly in positive ways, despite several nuances that can be neutralized. With proper usage, these instruments may boost effectiveness of studies and facilitate studying process.
