I am writing to request permission to organize an event titled “International Students’ Cultural Evening” at our university. As a second-year student in the Faculty of Economics, I would be honored to take the lead in arranging this event.
The purpose of the event is to promote friendship, mutual understanding, and cultural awareness among students of various nationalities. It will also provide an opportunity for students to showcase their traditions while learning about the diverse backgrounds of their peers.
We are planning to hold the event on the 15th of next month in the university’s central courtyard. The program will include a cultural food exhibition, traditional clothing show, and interactive activities such as quizzes and games with small prizes. We aim to create a vibrant, engaging, and educational atmosphere for all participants.
I would be grateful if the university could support us by providing an appropriate venue (open space or hall), a stage, audio equipment (microphones and speakers), and necessary furniture (tables and chairs). If possible, a small budget for decorations and prizes would also be highly appreciated.
