Nowadays, e saveryoney that in order to reduce environmental issues, petroleum prices for bikes and all other vehicles should be increased. This is true but there is no other convenient option for humans to travel from one place to another. So i disagree this statement because it will create more harms to the society.
The main reason for people using petrol and diesel vehicles is that it is more comfortable than electronic vehicles. Despite having low prices for EV charging, it is not able to recharge as compared to refueling vehicles. Moreover, it is difficult to use EV cars and bikes as they don’t have speed compared to fuel type vehicles. Furthermore, the range of EV vehicles is very less and is not feasible for long drive whereas petroleum cars can be used for long distance travel as they can be refueled very easily. These are the reasons why people use fuel vehicles and hence it is creating more environmental problems. The price of fuels can be constantly increased so that people will start using electronic mode of transportation. A study conducted recently in India showed that 30% of the petroleum vehicle users are converting to EV cars and bikes.
But despite increasing the petroleum prices, most of the people are still relying on petroleum vehicles. They are not willing to change to the EV as they are very costly compared to the latter. The people started thinking that they cannot go off road or a long trip with their vehicle when they change their vehicle. And hence by increasing the fuel price, they would not start using EV rather it will become more costly to afford transportation. And hence it is not much practical to increase the price of the fuel type vehicles.
In conclusion, i would like to state that even though fuel prices are very high, they are still relying on it as they are very useful in their life compared to EV’s. There will be no much change in increasing the fuel prices rather it will become more and more difficult for people to transport.
