In 2013 gold took second place in cost term, worth around 1500 dollars. It hovered around that level until 2019 before experiencing a small rise in 2020 with about 1750 dollars and stayed the same in 2021.
The metal which had the highest cost in 2013 was platinum. This figure witnessed a gradual decrease from 2014 to 2020 with approximately 1000 dollars and a slight rise in 2021 costing just over 1250 dollars. Palladium had the lowest value in 2013 at 750 dollars, remaining pretty much the same until 2017. The biggest escalation throughout history was made in 2018, and continued to rise year on year, reaching the highest point of around 2500 dollars.
