The plans compare the layout of the harbour in 2000 and what it looks like today.
Overall, there have been extensive changes in the harbour by the name of Porth since 2000. Many commercial and recreational areas such as cafes and shops have been added.
In 2000, there were two passenger ferries and one dock, at the top of the harbour. In the west of the harbour, there were private yachts by the name of Marina, on the left side of the Marina, there were showers and toilets, and a car park. In the south-west of the harbour, there were fishing boats. At the bottom of the harbour, in the left corner, there was a disused castle, which was situated next to a small public beach. On the left side of the fishing boats, there was another car park, which was connected with the former one by the Main road.
Today, in the north of the harbour, a ferry and a dock have been added, while the fishing boats, showers and toilets, and car park have remained unchanged. On the left side of the Marina, showers and toilets have been constructed, which are located between two car parks. In the east of the private yachts, cafes and shops have been added. However, the disused castle has been transferred into a hotel. In the south of the harbour, the public beach has been conveyed into the private beach, which is for the hotel.
