The line graph illustrates the differences of average monthly change in the prices of three different metals which are copper, nickel and zinc in 2014.
Overall, the line graph shows a variety of momentum of each metals through out the years where it can be clearly seen that nickel has the highest percentage change of price in the first month while zinc has the lowest change of price percentage with copper being in the middle of the spot. Furthermore, on the end of the year, zinc manage to have a slow process of climbing and finally achieving a higher change of price than nickel which is now place as the last rank of change of price.
Moreover, there are some noticeable changes of price each month for each respective metals. As for nickel, it has a clear downtrend of decrease in price drastically from 6% into -3% in January to June and manage to pump slightly to 1% at the end of the year. While for zinc, it has achieve a peak of price in February at 3% and the price slowly declining until it reached the bottom in October at -1% and pump again to 2% in December. Lastly as for copper, it has a slight changes in price where it fluctuate at the price range between 2% and -0.5%.
