The maps illustrate what happened in Stamdorf,an industrial village in England, from 1985 to 2015.
Overall,it is clear that Stamdorf changed significantly over a period of 30 years.During this period, many building were constructed and a large number of trees were planted.
In 1985,three small roadsides inns were situated in the northwestern part
of the area. However these houses were destroyed in 2015. The new map also notes that in 2015 additional fir trees and palm trees were planted, moreover new factories and houses were erected, for example, the industrial zone and industrial staff quarter were mostly situated in the northern part of the village. However, the housing estate 1 was constructed opposite to the field.
What’s more,a new bridge was built across the river in Stamdorf between 1985 and 2015,connecting the two parts of the village. It is worth noting an important detail:the factory that was located in the eastern part of the local industrial zone in 1985 was demolished in 2015.Additionally,three new roadside hotels were built in the southeastern part.Residential complex 2 is located in the southern part along Arlington road.
