I think there are several reasons why the use of cash has decreased these days. The first one is that digital payment methods, such as mobile wallets, credit cards, and other options, are very convenient and reduce the need to carry cash. Some people can't drop or lose cash on the way, and this isn't the case with digital money. Furthermore, during COVID-19, in many places, to reduce the risk of infection, it was more comfortable to make payments from mobile wallets instead of using cash.
