This graph illustrates different income groups in 2 different locations of Australia which are the cities and regional centres. The Income is divided into 4 different categories which range from Low to High income groups and are compared between the percentage population of cities and regional centres.
The highest percentage of population in cities come under the middle income group which is around 35%. These people earn somewhere in between 70,000 dollars to 120,000 dollars per annum, where as the lowest percentage of population come under Low income group at around 13% who earn under 40,000 dollars per annum.
Almost similarly to cities, Regional centres have a high percentage of middle income groups but the highest percentage are of lower middle income groups who are just about 8% in more and earn around 40,000 dollars to 70000 dollars per annum. The lowest percentage of people in regional centres are of high income group who earn more than 120000 dollars. Compared to the cities regional centres have a higher percentage of low income group population sitting at 22% which makes the difference of 9% population in cities.
