Some people often celebrate religious festivals, but few of them want to enjoy themselves. From my perspective, I strongly advocate this idea, while it might be true this generation has forgotten the cultures, ethics and morals, but our fore-fathers who believed religious was a auspicious ceremony and followed the cultures which dug up from the past.
For instance, the major festival which is celebrated in India is Diwali. Diwali is a festival with lots of lights celebrated throughout India with families and well-wishers. Parents and grand-parents used to dress up with traditional outfit and offered with a bunch of sweets, light up the candles, and do worship to God. Later, they used to sit together and have wonderful dinner with delicious food and a smile on their face, and receive gifts from their well-beings. But, in today’s generation, most of the people started to burn crackers and often spoiling the environment with Sulphur dioxide, and other polluting chemicals which leads to massive global warming. Notably, the people have stopped wearing traditional outfit and enjoying themselves with latest outfit brands.
Furthermore, it is vital to emphasize on such religious festivals as it plays a propelling factor. The government of India always supports the traditional and religious festivals and provide vast knowledge of them via News and also by social media. Although, the society right now perished the term ‘traditional’, but in the future it is very important to enhance knowledge regarding our cultures and ethics.
In conclusion, I find religious festivals an interesting and pleasurable experience, as each year passes by, simply because it enriches my heart and mind.
