The bar chart compares the number of students who studied at a first year university in different subjects in 1980.

overall, it is clear that the highest number of students who liked arts in females. The number of pupils chosed law was lowest in males.

In terms of Arts, females student was higher, about 4800, On this as opposed to the males around 2200. Similarly, female students was higher on Languages course than the male students (around 41000 and 1500 respectively).In the number of female students took a medicine course about 4200 that of males, around 2200. And again female students was higher on Law than males – (1800 and 1500 respectively).

On the other hand, the number of student who liked on the remaining subject was higher in males.4500 male students interested on Science,which was over double of females. However, the male students chosen math just over 3000 where females was nearly 3000.
