The pie charts depict the proportion of three different computer operating systems (OS) between 2012 and 2015.
Overall, OS1 and OS2 saw a growth in international market share after a 4-year period unlike the others. Moreover, while most people preferred using OS1 in most of the given time, OS3 was the least attractive method.
In 2012, 48% of global users used other OS systems and that figure doubled the figure for OS1, at 20% of market share worldwide. Additionally, OS2 and OS3 had almost the same amount of international stock, with 17% and 15%, respectively. In the following year, while OS3 and other OS systems experienced a slight decrease in number of users, that of OS1 increased up to 38%, becoming the highest figure at that time; meanwhile the figure for OS1 remained unchanged.
From 2014 to 2015, the number of users using OS1 gradually rose, and became the domination system in the final of the period, with over a half of proportion. Similarly, at the same time, the figure for OS3 grew slightly to 15% while that of OS2 stayed unchanged, at 18%. By contrast, 15% of international consumers, which was the lowest figure, used OS2 systems.
