Overall, what stands out from the line graph is that the figure for immigration rates in Russia was the highest at the beginning of the span, while the proportion of immigration rate in China demonstrated dramatic growth and took over the dominance by the end of the period.
Turning to details, we can see increasing tendencies in the number for the immigration rates in China and Japan. The share of immigartion rate in China increased sharply by 15 per cent, from 5 per cent to 20 per cent, between 1960 and 1980. In addition, the relative number went to approximately 27 per cent. Regaring Japan, we can see that the figure witnessed minimal decreas between 1960 and 1980. However, this number rised considerably from 10 per cent to 15 per cent between 1980 and 2020.
If we look at Russia, the immigration rate saw about five-fold decline between 1960 and 2000. However, the relative percentage demonstrated slow increase from just below 5 per cent to 5 percent.
