In recent years, there has been a debate over a role of high-level computer skills in career. I completely believe that computer skills are one of the main factors for having successful career.
It is obvious that, technology is a significant part of our life, and its effects are visible in every field. Firstly, today many documentary works are replaced with online opportunities, it means many works are done on the computers in the workplaces. Normally, it requires computer skills; that is why knowing basic computer skills are necessay to differentiate in the admission process. For example, there are some requirements, such as to know microsoft office and adobe programs, to use email address in hight level and so on.
On the other hand, competiton is rule in the job market, in comparison to the past times, today knowing and possessing basic computer operations is not a big deal. Because in every day, new thing are experienced in technology field. Unfortunatelly, sometimes it caused job losing because a fewer employees are enough for work progress in some industry areas, and companies want to have the best knowledgeable workers. For example, 3-5 workers is sufficent to produce chocolate in some factories, such as Ferrero and Lindt.
In conclusion, high-level computer skills play a crucial role to hold on to this competitve work environment and successful career.
