As majority of people think, talking the same language all over the world would be an essential development. But in my humble opinion it is absolutely wrong. First things first talking about advantages of the same global language, it would be useful in a way that we could understand foreign people, understand each other’s speech. Therefore would give us ability to communicate.
As disadvantage is concerned, it would decrease people’s desire to travel, because precisely unique language emphasize importance of the culture. Every language is beautiful by it’s particalar way of pronouncing words. Language represents nation’s history, it gradually develops day by day. We learn more about this world by inquiring about different cultures and languages of the nations.
In addition there is another impact of learning foreign languages, it is its influence on our brain. It is proved by scientists that mastering another languages has useful effect on that part of the brain which is responsible for memory. Hence it helps up to memorize more information that we get.
In conclution, the same global language would give us more cons that pros. And it is highly unlikely that in some century we all will speak the same language.
