As the majority of people think, talking the same language all over the world would be an essential development. Although in my humble opinion, it is totally wrong due to the number of changes that we will be given by it.
First things first, talking about the advantages of the same global language, I can say that it might be useful in a way that we could understand foreign people and understand each other’s speech. Therefore, it would give us ability to communicate without any barriers.
As far as disadvantages are concerned, it decreases people’s desire to go abroad because precisely unique language emphasize meaning of the culture. Every tongue is beautiful by it’s particalar way of pronouncing words. Nevertheless, it represents nation’s history and it gradually develops every day by widening with many new words and expressions. We learn more and more about this universe by inquiring about different cultures and languages of the nations.
In addition, there is another impact of learning foreign languages: it is its influence on our powerful brain. It is proved by scientists that mastering another languages has useful effect on that part of the brain which is responsible for memory. Hence, it helps us to memorize more information that we get. And this provides us from sudden period of memory loss in years when we get elder.
In conclusion, the same global language would give us more cons than pros. Moreover, it is highly unlikely that in the following years we will all speak the same language.
