Band 5+: In the past, most people lived in small villages where everyone knew everyone else. Nowadays, most people live in large cities where they only know a few people in their area. What do you think were the advantages and disadvantages of living in a small community?

In the past many people live in small villages and they had good communication with each other. Now, many people live in large cities and they are strangers to each other. What do you think were advantages and disadvantages of living in a small community?

First, when you live in small community everyone know each other. Everyone helps one other and motivate to study. People are friendly and neighbours support each other in difficult situations. And they feel happy when you achieve your goals. People feel safe and trust one other . People can enjoy peaceful lifestyle. Small communities are usually quieter. There is less traffic and noise. Because in small community there is less cars and people to make traffic and noise. It is easy to find a job in a small community.

There is disadvantages too. First, you can feel lonely. There are fewer places to visit, such as cinema and shopping centres and cafes. People may have a fewer oppurtunities to find jobs and receive a good educations. Which can effect in your future. For example in my childhood time we have not got any oppurtinies to become professional footballer and athletics. Because in my small village there was no educations for become a footballer

In conclusion, the advantages of living in a small community is better than the disadvantages. In the small village you can not become what you wanted. Although people can enjoy peaceful life.
