These days, kids have gained more opportunities than they were in the past. In this regard, there are a number of individuals who think that the life of children used to be easier than now, while many disagree with this view. In my opinion, children’s lives have become better compared to the past. However, this essay will reveal both aspects of this discussion

Firstly, there is a range of opportunities for kids, which are provided by the government and parents. One of them is access to education without extra fees. It is beneficial for younger people because it may provide a better life for them. For example, primary education is given to you a chance to try themselves in every aspect and choose one of them to enhance the knowledge in this area throughout life. Therefore, healthcare advancements are also for free. It is a huge advantage for them because they can be treated under national health insurance. Cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and even cancer; as an example can be provided a treatment, with no extra charge, by the state.

On the other hand, some people think that children in the past had an easier life. For a long time, kids have not needed a bachelor’s degree to be hired to work. For example, after elementary class, students of the past could find the work as soon as possible. In addition, the life of young people was simpler before the 19th century because they had no responsibility, problems and no control.

In my opinion, the life of children in the past was more difficult than now because of some reasons. The history of slavery is a painful part of the history. If you didn’t have an honorific status, you would probably sell as an item. Moreover, you couldn’t make your own decisions. So that’s why your life in the past might be more challenging than now.

To sum up, while there are little complexities currently, the life of children in the past was harder than we thought.
