Some people believe that in order to become successful sportsperson one should have latest technology and the modern equipment , whereas others opine that it is futilefor achieving success in sports. In this essay, I shall analyse both perspectives. I am personally in favour of the second view.
Those who say that having hi-tech technology and the equipment which are launched recently doesn’t play a crucial role in making career in sports, give their reasons as follows. The first and foremost reason is that sports has been in existence since many years and now each and every individual wants to make their career in it as it help in holistic development of the body. Number of youth in sports have been increased as unprecedented rate which has caused many people to see it has an opportunity to increase their business by making sports related equipment and technologies which are even not needed. This business man tend to deceive young generation by spreading information such as how this equipment can change their game completely or how they can increase their speed which is completely wrong because in past also people use to play sports and they use to excel in their respective games by just using ordinary equipment. Research by Oxford University, has shown that one can get success in their respective sports by their skills, passion and hardwork rather than by any materialistic objects.
On the other hand, there are many reasons while some people assert that latest technology and up-to-date equipment plays a vital role to become a successful sportsperson. Firstly, people get so mesmerize by this products that they think that without their use they cannot enhance their game. For example, there is a captivating advertisement about smart watch which can they help to count number of steps and calories burned throughout the day so plays can remain physically fit by setting output on them, they want to achieve daily. Secondly, many people might have seen good results from this gadgets and equipment and they extoll about them.
I believe that it is imperative to develop your skills to excel in this field rather than by use of any latest technology and the modern equipment. Apart from the above mentioned reasons, one should always increase their endurance and should stay focused ever in most toughest times.
To sum up, it is definitely required to do hardwork instead of relying on latest technology and the modern equipment for their success.
