Some people argue that our first impression of someone can be quite significant. However, I would side with not judging other people so quickly and we should take some time to understand them better.
On one hand, it is undeniable that the first impression of someone is quite important to some extent. This is extremely valuable because individuals are more likely to appeal good perspectives from the others and instill their opponents a sense of reliability and trust. This can lead to supportive environments and healthy relationships. Taking my close friend as an example, a random conversation in an outdoor activity in my high school made me impressed by her first appearance. Therefore, I had positively kept in touch with her and built rapport with her until now.
On the one hand, there are some noticeable opinions to show that people should not immediately assess another person and should spend more time to know them more. To be specific, you cannot judge other people through the first meeting in terms of bad situations and lack of preparation. Instead, people are encouraged to maintain a small talk with them more and have a certain perspective about them later on, especially their characteristics. Besides knowing them better, you can also share your personal interests and memorable experiences with those who see eye to eye with you.
