Nowadays, most individuals tend to expose their personal information on social network or banking transactions. From my perspective, I strongly believe that the benefits of the trend outweigh the potential drawbacks.
Undoubtedly, some may emphasize the potential drawbacks stemming from this trend. First, since people post personal data on the Internet, there is fraudulent appropriation of assets. In fact, hacker and cybercriminal constantly seek ways to exploit vulnerabilities in online system to steal personal information and commit crimes, posing a risk of asset theft for individuals who disclosed their identify. Second, if the more personal information we out online, we can be more vulnerable to privacy breaches and data leaks. For examples, these unwanted calls from unfamiliar numbers and unsolicited link in our emails leading to the loss of concentration and distraction at work.
Nevertheless, I would argue that the advantages of this phenomenon outweigh any drawbacks. Sharing personal data online offers convenience. This means that with just a few clicks, we are able to
connect with friends and family, make online purchase, save time and eliminate the need for physical paper or face to face interaction. Furthermore, online platforms benefit for online commercial trading, including in enhancing security measured to protect our personal information from unauthorized access, thereby increasing ability to earna living and even achieve higher income through online commerce transactions.
In conclusion, while the disadvantages of putting personal information online impact on humans, I am convinced the benefits are more significant. It has to be done carefully since current;y, it still does more harm than good.
