The bar chart gives information about how many male and female students who participated in selecting six computer science courses as their major in a university of the US in the year 2011.
In general, the Natural Science was the most attractive disciplines of qualification among both genders in 2011, whereas the opposite was true for Linguistics. In addition, the biggest difference was seen the amount of males and females registering in Mathematics.
It can be clearly seen from the chart, a Natural Science subject had an equal amount of men and women with 200 students. Whereas the number of male students in Linguistics was lower than that of females, with only 75 males enrolled. By the way, Psychology and Mathematics were the same higher than approximately twice and three times higher that of females.
In a specific view, female students dominated in Natural Science, Psychology and Linguistics. Moreover, had the lowest number of enrollment females in Mathematics , which approximately 30 students, Engineering and Progamming.
